New CFO to Guide East View Companies Through Move and Expansion

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - April 24, 2007 - East View Cartographic (EVC) today announced the appointment of Doug Keefer as CFO of East View Cartographic and East View Information Services. Keefer has been managing the finances of East View Cartographic but this timely promotion will allow him to use his expertise in company expansion to support the strategic initiatives of both companies.

Keefer’s first challenge is the purchase and build-out of a building that will quadruple the size of existing East View facilities. The companies will move to the new offices in June. A state-of-the-art data center will support the sizable online databases hosted by East View Information Services and the extensive digital map collection of East View Cartographic. Another key feature of the new facility will be a climate-controlled storage vault for rare microform collections, including one of the world’s largest collections of foreign newspaper masters.

“Doug is an expert at facilitating company expansion.” President and CEO of both East View companies, Kent Lee observed. “His role will be beyond that of East View’s CFO. He will guide us through an exciting stage of growth and help us consolidate our internal knowledge base to better serve our two companies and our customers.”

Keefer has helped manage five major company moves including the construction of the largest church building in the Midwest. Keefer co-managed this $56 million project which included the construction of a 365,000 square foot church and the relocation of the 4,000 church members to the new building. He has also managed several multi-million dollar expansion projects and was responsible for growing the facilities of Select Comfort to accommodate a staff increase from six to 120 people within a six month period.
