East View Special Intelligence Report: China's Geoinformation Industry 2015

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - East View (EV), known in the defense and intelligence circles as East View Information Services and East View Geospatial, has just completed its most recent Special Intelligence Report for the GEOINT conference in Washington, DC.  China’s Geoinformation Industry 2015 from East View is the officially-authorized translation of China’s Social Science Academic Press (SSAP) 2014 publication, Report on the Transformation and Upgrading of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation

This open source publication details the history, current state and future direction of China’s commercial, local government and federal government geospatial developments and initiatives and is an important authoritative primary source for open source geospatial intelligence with regards China.

East View has had a long-standing relationship with SSAP located in Beijing.  “SSAP annually creates new and annual continuation reports, or pishu, which cover China’s policies on trade, the environment, military development, economic growth, and more,” said Kent D. Lee, President & CEO of East View. “Pishu are authoritative and written for the sake of research and policymaking by the most important think tanks and renowned academic institutions in China. These publications influence China’s thought leaders and decision-makers in the Chinese government.”

SSAP chose to work exclusively with East View on the translation of this industry intelligence report due to its strong experience with delivering Chinese content to the Western market as well as East View having a database platform and data center to host the content.
