Official mapping of the Principality of Liechtenstein is the responsibility of Fϋrstliche Regierung Liechtenstein. A four-sheet 1:10,000 scale series is the largest scale available and is regularly revised, the latest edition being published in 1989. In addition the principality is covered by Swiss and Austrian official topographic surveys at 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales.

Locally published mapping is derived from these sources and produced largely for the tourist market. The 1:25 000 scale Landeskarte has 20 m contours and is a composite of published Swiss mapping.

Soviet military topographic mapping of Liechtenstein exists at the following scales: 1:1,000,000 (1 sheet, complete coverage, published in 1985); 1:500,000 (1 sheet, complete coverage, published in 1985); 1:200,000 (1 sheet, complete coverage, published in 1986); 1:100,000 (2 sheets complete coverage, published in 1985) and 1:50,000 (4 sheets, complete coverage, published in 1984). These products are available in print, digital raster and digital vector GIS formats from East View Geospatial.

The Regierung publishes a geological map of Liechtenstein at 1:25,000 scale, which is derived from 1:10,000 scale surveys and edited by Professor Dr F.Allemann in the University of Bern.
