The Australian Surveying and Land Information Group (AUSLIG) is responsible for mapping Norfolk Island in the South Pacific. A four-color 1:25,000 scale survey on the UTM projection, International ellipsoid, was published in 1971, with relief shown in 20 m contours and hill shading.
Soviet military topographic mapping of Norfolk Island exists at the following scale: 1:1,000,000 (1 sheet, complete coverage, published in 1973). This product is available in print, digital raster and digital vector GIS formats from East View Geospatial.
A new poster map at 1:15,000 scale was compiled from color aerial coverage and published in 1992.
A double-sided 1:15,000 scale tourist map shows relief with 20 m contours, and incorporates photographs and text about the island.
