The Polynesian state of Tokelau has been mapped by New Zealand agencies. A 1:25,000 scale image map of the main islands was compiled in (Series 272) by the New Zealand Department of Lands and Surveys (now Land Information New Zealand (LINZ)) and Terralink. Three four-color orthophotomaps were published in the early 1980s, on a Transverse Mercator projection, International ellipsoid, with road and place names overprinted on the image base.
Soviet military topographic mapping of Tokelau is available at the following scale: 1:1,000,000 (1 sheet, complete coverage, published in 1965). This product is available in print, digital raster and digital vector GIS formats from East View Geospatial.
